Families seem to have everything these days,
except family time.
Will kids miss it?”

Keynote speaker: Katy Smith - Trends in American families that impact our business I see some interesting trends in our communities that affect parents, children and providers. Our world is raising a generation of children who will have more of nearly everything than their parents had yet they will be a generation that may not be as happy. This keynote will identify those trends and give some perspective on how providers can cope with them in a child care setting. Bring your own thoughts about consumerism, the absence of outdoor play and limits in the lives of children to name a few. Katy has a light hearted approach to training and you are sure to leave with a smile on your face.
